Phuket FantaSea

Day 84 continued (FantaSea):

Our last night of vacation, we splurged and went to the show FantaSea.  It included a dinner buffet. Doug thought seafood was included in that, he went over to the buffet where there was fresh seafood and got turned away.  They wanted to charge an extra $30!  It was so sad.  And to top it off Kora was extremely high maintenance during the eating portion of our night.  I had to leave and take her to the bathroom to *try* to put her to sleep about 3 times.  She'd almost settle down, then pop right up and point to the door.  After our week of eating out, we've decided going to restaurants isn't the most fun thing to do with little kids, especially if one of them is Kora.
Waiting for our shuttle to the show.

Kees saying, "Sa Wa Dee Kap"

Kora making her duck face.

Going around in circles.

Looking for the shuttle ride.

It's here, it's here!

On the shuttle van.

Looking out the window.

Look at the beach!

He fell asleep.

We had already paid for our tickets, but had to turn in our receipt to get stickers to wear.

Golden elephants.

Kora tried to crawl under the railing to swim with these fish.
Look!

They must have been starving, they were jumping all around and fighting over the food.

Watching the fish eat.

Sweet girl of mine.

I know I say this a lot, but he is looking too big!

Daddy finally got done in that long line, so we showed him the fish!

Colorful statues.

One of the shopping centers.

This shop sold t-shirts.

This is the main theater, where the show was.

The buffet!

Kees liked these rolls, he's a Pittman!

After dinner, we walked around the grounds, it was a lot like a theme park, similar to Six Flags, but much smaller.  We found the baby room around 8:15 and had a chance to change Kora and settle her down before the show started.  The air conditioning in there was so cold. It was amazing.
Kora loved this bear.

I thought Gramee would like these!

Happy Father's Day!

The show started at 9.  We had an excellent time. Kora slept through the whole thing, until the last musical number.  What she saw she liked.  Kees liked the ghost, the lady that got sawed in half, and the elephants.  Doug liked the fight scene, and I liked the acrobats that hung from the ceiling.  We weren't allowed to take pictures inside the show, but I got some before we went in. (And then I googled the show to get a few that were online, so here they are: )

One of the elephants peed. It was crazy, I thought someone was spraying a power washer.  Right after they cleaned it up, another one peed.  Hilarious!!!

They dropped balloons at the end of the show.  Neither one of our kids got one, but on our way out two different sets of people gave a balloon to our kids.  So nice! They were both popped before we got back to our hotel room.  Kees was so sad.
