Goodbye Ocean!

Day 85:

The Phuket FantaSea was a great way to end our vacation with a bang.  We got back to the hotel around 11, and got to bed around midnight. We had to get up at 5 am to pack and get ready to leave for the airport.  We were out of our room and in the lobby by 6:30.  Right on time, weird!

It was really strange, Kees woke up and Kora was OUT! Doug changed her diaper and she stayed asleep.

After we got the kids dressed, Kora was ready to go, and Kees went back to sleep.  I bought him some new shoes at the show the previous night.  They are similar to Crocs, but look like tennis shoes.

Our ride was picking us up at 7, so we had time to enjoy one last complimentary hot drink.  Doug and I had cappuccino and Kees had Thai tea.  Both kids fell asleep on the hour ride to the airport, so when we got to the airport they were dragging. Kees had to go to the bathroom, so I took both kids, cut to the front, went through the scanner and went to the bathroom.  Unfortunately, we had to wait in the bathroom for a very long time.  I could not believe how long people were in those stalls!  We finally got to actually use the bathroom, then met back with Doug.  Checked the big bags, and went upstairs to wait to board.

She would not sit in the stroller.  We ended up wishing we'd left it at home.

While we were flying, Kees saw clouds out the window and said, "Mom those clouds are going in circles, it's gonna be a tornado!"

I gave the kids suckers so they'd be swallowing for take off.  They approved.

Kora was so messy, I let Doug hold her.  He owed me after the flight to vacation where he sat two rows up.

We made it home around 12:30, ordered some lunch, and then we all took a nap.

So happy to get yummy Pi Meow food!  Only $2, and oh so yummy.

Vacation was a blast, but we are excited to be back and getting back to our routine!
