200 DAYS of BLOGGING!

Day 199 (Wednesday 10-9):

Fun day with my kids. We had a little snack picnic on Grandma's balcony.  Kees decided he wanted to crush cookies, so we had to put them in a baggie and whack them with a spoon. Later, while Kora was napping, Kees found a pizza shadow!

Fun plates Grandma bought, they added to our lovely picnic!

Kora!

Crushed cookies

Do you see the pizza???

He wanted to sit on part of the shadow to make the pizza smaller.

This drink is amazing!

Kees hiding his cereal bar.

Where'd it go? He loves saying stuff is camouflaged!

There it is!

Kora signing, "All done!"

When Grandma was done with work, we went for a walk. Kees had a lot of fun because we decided we'd walk when it was shaded and run on the parts of the path that were sunny.  He found a cool pole shadow he was able to walk on and get a break.

Look a shadow!

Walking

With Grandma!

Kora discovered barbies...NO!!!!

Eating something, can't remember what.

Kees and I built with Lincoln logs.

Kora liked knocking this stuff over.

2 castles.

Reading with Daddy.

Cheese!

Then we lined the logs up across the floor.

Day 200 (Thursday 10-10):

Can you believe I've blogged/documented my life for 200 days! Craziness! And to top it off, this was the day we finally got official notice from GoodSeed that they accepted our application for membership. We're officially moving to Idaho! We have a few speaking engagements and people to see, planning to move some time around the beginning of next year, depending on how things go. Prayers appreciated. Anyway, on to the details of the day...

We took a last minute trip to the outlet mall. When we told Kees we were going to the Disney store...where they have lots of CARS stuff, he was so excited, but it almost sounded like he was upset.  It was so funny!

We called and asked Doug's dad and Ginny to join us for lunch. The kids are always happy to see Grandpa!  He entertained them at the play place and took them on the carousel. Then we went for ice cream at Braum's and back to his place for a while.

Can you feel the excitement?

Checking it out

She found something

This one didn't work, it kept spitting my money out.

They got little treasures with Grandpa Boo

On the carousel

Orange bone candy.

A serious conversation

I was pretty stressed out in this store. Kees kept grabbing stuff, looking back now, I should have pulled him aside and discussed proper store etiquette. Instead I took pictures, live and learn.

Cheese

He looks so chill

Ice Cream! Yummy!

She shared, but just a little.

We moved outside because Kora was acting nuts. It was windy and still a little stressful. We decided to go back to Grandpa's place.

Checking out the storm shelter. Lots of Oklahomans investing in them after the tornadoes in May.

Kees loved this.

Doing a puzzle with Grandpa.

Drawing people.

Grandpa Boo and Ginny bought the kids some awesome pajamas. Kora loved these ones in particular, because there are kitties on the feet.

Kees's favorite was the monster/robot pajama pants.

After hanging out with Grandpa & Ginny, we went over to watch T.  He has cool backyard toys.

Kees and T, playing.

BASEBALL!

New pajamas!

Kora lovingly calls these pajamas: "meow meow"!

Day 201 (Friday 10-11):

Kees and I went shopping, I found a few things I might want for Christmas. We went to several stores because we had a bunch of odds and ends we needed. First we went to Big Lots, then Hobby Lobby, and finally Aldi.

6 cans of Dr. Pepper would go really well in this cooler.

Kees loved this singing Santa doll.

These are awesome!

Really, just ONE grape!?!

Kees shopped till he dropped!  So sweet!
We bought a brain cupcake kit a few weeks back and we saved them for the OU?
It was finally time to make the brain cupcakes!

Kora helped!

Yum

Putting the skull wrappers around the cupcakes.

We bought black paper at Hobby Lobby to cover the windows because it's so bright in Grandma's guest room. They all fell off one by one during the night...not fun!
