Kees "sitting up" on game day!

Kees cannot officially sit up yet, but he is so close. He can prop himself up with his arms and sit for a couple of minutes. It's really cute, but also such a reminder that he is growing too fast! I feel like I was still pregnant last month, but it has nearly been 5 months! I never could have imagined parenting would be this great. There are definitely challenging and hard times, but everything is better with him here. We cannot wait for Halloween & Christmas. Every day is a new and fabulous adventure. We love our little baby so much! Here is a picture of our "BIG" boy.

Kees Laughing

Kees is such a sweetie! Mommy can usually get him to laugh & we were finally able to get some good video of him! He is already 4 1/2 months old and it is going way too fast! One day when Kees was laughing we called and left Gramee and Grampa a message. Gramee likes to listen to it over and over again. She even put it on her phone!

In the Garden

We visited Paden for the first OU game and to see Kandalynn, Connor, Caleb, and Aunt Valeri who were in town to visit my parents. We had lots of fun and got to pick cucumbers and tomatoes. We used tomatoes and peppers from the garden to make fresh salsa. My mom made lots of desserts...there was something for everyone! Oatmeal cookies for me, sheet cake for Doug, strawberry parfait for Kandalynn, and rice krispies for the boys. She even fed some of his "slushie" from a spoon...technically I "made" the slushie, but who's counting. The Sooners lost, but we still had a great weekend and we are all hoping we'll win next time!

Can't post pictures for some reason...I'll try back later!

Mommy and Kees

Date in Bricktown

Douglas and I went to Redpin in Bricktown and ate some yummy food. We decided to pass on bowling and do it with a group another time, but we did ride on the water taxi. It was so much fun! Thanks Grandma Sheryl for babysitting!

Curious George...of course!
