Taco Tuesday: Addictive Scotcheroos

You can find the "real" recipe here.

It's basically 1 cup of white corn syrup, plus one cup of sugar, brought to a boil.
Remove from heat, add 1 cup peanut butter, stir.
Pour over 6 cups of crispy rice cereal (Rice Krispies).  Stir.  Spread into a 9 X 13 pan.
Melt 1 cup chocolate chips with 1 cup butterscotch chips.  Spread over the top of the cereal mixture.  Let cool (and set). Or just get messy, and eat them fresh!

Alright, everyone, repeat after me...

"I have been fully informed about the addictive nature of these treats.  If I choose to eat the entire pan, in one sitting, I will not hold Kellee responsible for any impending weight change."

I wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not. These things are so good.  I *try* not to make them very often because I know how difficult it will be to control myself once they are made. That's why you should always make these for a crowd and NEVER bring home the leftovers.

Doug loves these!  I had never had them until after we started dating, his sister makes them.  Are you noticing a theme??? She is a fabulous cook and an even better hostess!  Love, love her!  I have stolen many recipes from her in the past, and I plan to continue for a very long time to come.
